What happens when two great passions collide? The Little Brown Farm, a dream and lifestyle we have been pursuing for years now.
After spending 20 years trying to find a balance between profession and passion, we were introduced to our goats. No one could have predicted the course our lives would take after that fateful connection.
Years of being animal lovers and frustrated food fanatics (and growing up in Wisconsin) turned into developing a powerful relationship with a remarkable mentor, which blossomed into a healthy herd and a passion for cheesemaking.
After this awakening, the only thing that was abundantly clear was that this was the only path for us to take. We plotted our escape from the city and started to develop what would become our foundation herd.
Almost 7 years later on our little farm on Whidbey Island, our creamery is finally licensed, open and our fine cheeses are now available to the public. Dreams do come true.
